ATX v2 documentation
ATX v2 - trades - SEs
All traffic activity generated by search engine surfers is grouped under a single system trade. The trade search engines in Stats - Main Overview displays all hits & clicks generatd by
traffic that arrived at your site via the (search engine) domains that are listed on this page.
This way its not neccesary to add hundreds of individual trades to get an idea about the amount
of SE traffic your site receives. By default, ATX ships with a list of approx 150 SE domains.
ATX v2 can also extract the search phrases that were used to find your website with the search engines.
To setup so called trackers, write the query string variable name behind the search engine domain,
delimiting the two values with a star character: *
For example, when we go to google.com and search on arrowscripts, we see the following url
http://www.google.com/search?q=arrowscripts&ie=utf8&oe=utf8&rlz=
The name of the search variable is q=
So in the ATX search engines list, we fill out google.com*q=
An overview of all search tags can be found via Stats - Main Overview - Search Engines trade - select keywords
from the dropdown statistics menu.
