- Congratulations! If you're reading this, you have probably finished the installation of ATX v2 on your website.
To load the ATX v2 admin, point your browser to http://www.yourdomain.com/cgi-bin/a2/admin.cgi
The default login is as follows
| username: | user |
| password: | pass |
- Once you have logged in for the first time, ATX will ask you to create a new license:

If you have just purchased a new license, you need to quickly head over
to aslicense.com to set the domain for your license.
First go to http://www.aslicense.com/cgi-bin/control/admin.cgi
Login, click on licenses, select an open license in the ATX v2 licenses list,
and fill out the domain that you're installing ATX on.
Now back to your ATX installation, fill out your aslicense/arrowscripts username and password.
You can find these in the welcome email you have received from us.
If you're not sure what your login is, please contact us.
Also fill out the domain on which you've just installed ATX.
A domain is for example google.com
Not www.google.com, or http://www.google.com/, etc
Hit the 'request new license' button, and ATX will automatically generate a new license for you.
Every license is valid for 90 days, and can be renewed at any time, for free.
If you happen to forget to renew your license in time, there's no problem.
ATX will continue to fully operate. Only the admin won't be accessible untill a new license is generated
- After logging in and creating a license, we advise you to setup the IP access filter.
Go to menu --> ATX --> settings --> ATX access IP masks
In this table, fill out your IP, or the first 2 octets.
To find out what your IP is, go to a site like http://www.whatismyip.com/
If your IP is 11.22.33.44, fill out 11.22. in the IP masks field.
This will allow every IP starting with 11.22. to login.
You can add several IPs, add 1 per line, and be careful of spaces after IPs.
- Now that you've limited access to your admin, don't forget to change the ATX login credentials.
Go to menu --> ATX --> settings --> Username + Password
As you can see, the current login is set to user / pass.
Change this to a more secure combination
Remember your login, if you forget it we won't be able to retrieve it for you.
It is possible to completely reset your password however.
Alright, you're all set to modify your website to start trading traffic with ATX v2
Continue to getting started: incoming hits
