    2. updating atx
Extract the zip file you just downloaded. It contains several cgi files.
These cgi files are compiled c++ program files.
There are basically 2 steps involved in updating ATX; uploading the new files, and generating a new license.

    1) Connect to your server with a FTP client, and browse to the domain.com/cgi-bin/atx/ directory.

    2) Upload the new cgi files in binary mode! Overwrite the existing cgi files.

    3) Go to the diretory domain.com/cgi-bin/atx/x/ and chmod the files geox.cgi and install-web.cgi to 755

    4) Open the file http://www.domain.com/cgi-bin/atx/x/install-web.cgi in your browser.
ATX 1.3 works with a new license system, so you'll need to generate a new license.

    5) Fill out the domain in the domain field and click on the button generate primary key

    6) Copy the generated primary license key to your clipboard and login to http://www.aslicense.com/cgi-bin/atx/client/admin.cgi.
    7) In the ATX Licenses table, click on the current domain that you're upgrading.

    8) In the primary license key field, paste the key you just generated, and click on update license

    9) Once again click on the domain in the list, and you will find your finaly license key.
Copy this to your clipboard and paste it in the final license key on http://www.domain.com/cgi-bin/atx/x/install-web.cgi
    10) Now that you've generated the license, chmod install-web.cgi to 0 permissions (no access).

    11) Open notepad (or any other plain text editor), create a new file with the following contents:

Save the file, name it update, and upload the file to /cgi-bin/atx/d/, and chmod it to 666, and wait one minute

    12) That's it. Load the admin again.
